01 The short version
Aurafy is a fully offline application. It has no backend, no user accounts and no sign-up. Every reading is calculated on your device, and everything you type stays on your device.
We do not collect, store, sell or transmit your personal information. The only third party involved is Google AdMob, which serves the advertising that keeps Aurafy free.
This policy applies to the Aurafy mobile application (package com.simobr.aurafy), published by Simobr Studio ("we", "us"), an independent developer based in Morocco.
02 What stays on your device
Aurafy stores the following locally, in your phone's private app storage. None of it is uploaded to us, because there is nowhere for it to be uploaded to.
- Names and labels you enter — the people you add to your circle for relationship readings. These are free-text labels; the app never asks for, verifies or looks up a real identity.
- Your quiz answers — the choices you make inside a reading.
- Your reading history — past results, kept so you can reopen them.
- Your Stars balance and unlocks — which modules, themes and achievements you have.
- Your preferences — selected language, theme, and sound settings.
We never see any of this. It never leaves your phone through Aurafy.
Deleting your data
Because there is no account, there is nothing to request from us. You can erase everything at any time in one of these ways:
- Use the reset option inside the app's settings.
- Go to your device's Settings → Apps → Aurafy → Storage → Clear storage.
- Uninstall Aurafy.
A note about Android backups
Android may include app data in the device backups that Google provides at the operating-system level. If that feature is enabled on your phone, a copy of Aurafy's local data may be stored in your own Google account and restored if you reinstall the app or move to a new device. That backup is handled entirely by Google under your Google account and its own privacy terms — we have no access to it. You can control it in your device's backup settings.
03 Advertising — Google AdMob
Aurafy is free and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. It is funded entirely by advertising served through Google AdMob. This is the one place where a third party is involved.
To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID).
- Approximate, non-precise location inferred from your IP address.
- Device and app information such as device model, operating system version, and app version.
- Ad interaction data — whether an ad was shown, viewed, or clicked, and rewarded-ad completion.
This processing is performed by Google, not by us. We never receive your advertising ID or any personal data from it — only anonymous, aggregated performance figures such as total impressions and revenue.
Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and the AdMob policies.
Your ad controls
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads lets you reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation.
- Where required by law (for example under GDPR in the EEA and the UK), a consent request is presented before personalised advertising is served, and you may change or withdraw that choice.
- Opting out of personalisation does not remove ads — it makes them less relevant.
04 What we never do
- We do not ask you to create an account or provide an email address to use the app.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, files or precise location.
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs beyond what AdMob requires to serve ads.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal information with data brokers — we do not hold any to sell.
- We do not build advertising profiles ourselves or combine data across services.
05 Children
Aurafy is not directed to children. It is rated for users aged 16 and over and is not listed in any children's or family programme on Google Play.
We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, remember that all data is local: clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it removes everything. You may also contact us at any time.
06 The nature of the readings
Aurafy's readings are reflective and entertainment content built on psychology-inspired frameworks. They are not a psychological assessment, a diagnosis, a clinical instrument, or professional advice.
Nothing in Aurafy should be used to make decisions about your health, relationships, safety or wellbeing. If you are struggling, please speak with a qualified professional or someone you trust.
The names you enter describe people in your life. Because those names never leave your device, no one else — including us — can associate a reading with a real person. Please be thoughtful about the readings you choose to share publicly.
07 Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California) and Morocco's Law 09-08 give you rights over personal data held about you — including access, correction, deletion and portability.
Because Aurafy holds no personal data on any server, we have nothing to disclose, correct, export or delete on your behalf. You already hold the only copy of your data, and you can erase it in seconds using the methods in section 02.
For rights relating to advertising data processed by Google, please use the controls in section 03 or contact Google directly.
08 Security
Aurafy's data lives inside your device's private, sandboxed app storage, protected by Android's own security model and by your device lock. Because nothing is transmitted to a server, there is no database of user readings anywhere that could be breached.
Your device's own security — screen lock, software updates, and who has physical access to it — remains the most important protection for your local data.
09 Changes to this policy
If Aurafy adds a feature that changes how data is handled, this policy is updated before that feature ships, and the date at the top of the page changes. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's Play Store release notes.
